Information for Towerlink Portugal, S.A. clients

 

Law no. 29/2021, of 20th of May, created an exceptional and temporary regime of suspension of agreements regarding the provision of essential services in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, which include the agreements relating to the provision of telecommunication services.

Under the terms of this regime, micro and small enterprises and self-employed entrepreneurs in a situation of company crisis or enterprises whose premises have been shut down by legal or administrative order issued within the control measures adopted in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic may request the suspension of their telecommunication services agreements, regardless of clauses that impose a period of loyalty or other, without requiring the payment of new rates or costs.

In compliance with the provisions of the applicable legislation, ANACOM (the National Authority of Communications) has provided an application template as well as the two application templates available here [(Example 1)], [Example 2)], which aim to help you fill in your application.

If you are in one of the situations referred to above you may request the suspension of your agreement with Towerlink by filling in the application template available here, and send it to us.
